What are the characteristics of the ideal job in 2023?
The characteristics of the ideal job have changed over time and one of the lessons that the pandemic has taught us is that workers value well-being at work more than a high salary.

According to Gallup's State of the Global Workplace Report 22 , nearly 4 in 10 Spaniards value work flexibility, type of contract and new work models above all else , over salary and additional benefits. Given this scenario, what are workers looking for in a dream job in 2023?

Being able to work from anywhere
Hybrid, remote or on-site: that is the question. Remote work became a priority during the pandemic and many companies have since opted for hybrid work . Today's workers are looking for hybrid models that give them flexibility and the possibility of balancing work and personal life. Technology is the key to making working from anywhere possible.

An IWG study reveals that 9 out of 10 workers say that hybrid work is an important factor when looking for a new job.

Don't stop learning: continuous training and other benefits
The benefits that companies offer their employees are also important for the ideal job in 2023. Along with the usual benefits such as health insurance, pension plans pharmacies email list or childcare vouchers, others are sought such as the possibility of receiving continuous training from the company to acquire new hard and soft skills.

Workers who are parents also value benefits such as paternity or nursing leave or reduced working hours.

A company with a purpose
Employees are no longer just looking for a company with a reputation. In 2023, they expect the ideal job to be in a company with a purpose – that is, with an objective that goes beyond financial gain.

Employees want to add value and have their goals aligned with those of the company they work for.

When we talk about a company with purpose, we are referring to a company that focuses on creating an emotional connection with all its stakeholders to generate a positive impact on society.

Recognition always
We all need to know that our work is appreciated and, therefore, that the company recognizes us. Work recognition can be defined as the gratitude that a company expresses to its workers for their productivity.

According to a Timesjob study , 59% of employees say that their bosses do not show enough appreciation for their work, which makes them feel undervalued. Employee recognition reduces turnover rate, creates a good working environment and increases productivity.

An ideal job and for a long time
