Even if you have the CV in front of you, it may be a good idea to ask for a  brief summary of the  candidate's professional career to check:

its capacity for synthesis,
of communication,
and obtain possible data of interest that does not appear in the CV.

Questions that are great classics in a job interview
If you do a lot of job interviews , you may think that you are unoriginal in your questions, but it is important to get basic information to know the candidate and classic questions are practical.

We need to look for specific information and we cannot allow ourselves to have more essential information about one candidate than another, because this lack of  elements of judgment  can lead us to make mistakes in hiring. We need to conduct the meeting naturally and not allow it to seem like an interrogation. So the conversation must be adapted to each candidate, but without ceasing to look for the values ​​that are important to us.

There are some questions that are already classics in job interviews and that are known not only by the interviewers but also by the interviewees. Nevertheless, they provide us with good information and  can lead to new questions  with which to delve deeper into the profile:

What was your last job? 
The CV will include the job title, but we are interested in a more in-depth explanation of the duties performed. This will allow us to talk about problems you have faced and how you overcame them, the tools you used at work, why you ended the employment relationship, why you wanted to change sectors (if applicable) and your greatest achievements, among other things.
