Their useful life is 1,000 hours and their colour reproduction is excellent. In the EU they can no longer be manufactured since 2012 , as they are not as sustainable.
Fluorescent
They are also known as tubular fluorescents . Their useful life is 12,500 hours . They are common in kitchens and here is an energy saving tip: it is very good to turn off the lights when we are not in a room but in the case of fluorescents, if your absence is less than 15 minutes, do not turn them off , as they have a high start-up consumption . There are low-consumption fluorescents , compact fluorescents .
