Tips to protect your WhatsApp

Disable the last time you were online
From Settings/Account/Privacy go to Last seen time and inside select Nobody.
Restrict the display of your profile picture
From Settings/Account/Privacy go to Profile Photo and inside select Nobody.
Choose who can see your status
From Settings/Account/Privacy go to Status and select who you want to share it with.
Disable the blue cross
From Settings/Account/Privacy uncheck the Read Receipts option .
Hide notifications on the lock screen
From Settings/Notifications go to Pop-up notification and inside select “ Never show pop-up ”. You can do this for private or group messages.
Disable automatic download of videos, photos and audios
From Settings/Data & Storage in Auto-download you can choose what you want to download automatically. If you uncheck all the options nothing will be downloaded.
