Until recently, marketers and programmers walked different paths. In fact, programmers often walked a lonely path, far removed from society. As their field became more and more popular and necessary, they began to interact with other professional profiles to join forces in the digital world.
Unfortunately, this relationship doesn't always work. In this case, neither marketers nor programmers know programming. At IM, we aim to correct one of these problems by bringing web technology closer to marketers.
The best SEOs not only know HTML meta tags, but also become familiar with them. Those who run corporate blogs know WordPress inside out. The best social media strategists must know not only what an API is, but also which ones are best suited for their mobile app.
For all this and more, it's hard to believe that someone can work in the digital world without understanding the environment. It's possible to work and ask questions to a computer scientist who's already tired of answering. It's also possible to pay ecuador mobile database programmers who have no idea about the objectives of a landing page. But what SMEs are looking for is to reduce costs and optimize work time, so the ideal situation would be for marketers to be able to learn a basic understanding of web technology to become self-sufficient in their work.

How much have the syllabus and activities changed?
In terms of structure and content, the curriculum eliminates all elements that weren't as relevant to marketers and delves into the most fundamental definitions so that students understand not only what they do, but why they do it.
The course also introduces new branches of web technology, such as "Cybersecurity: A Beginner's Kit," as well as specialized content based on student profiles: "Web Technologies," "SEO Technologies," and "Online Community Technologies."
Likewise, the activities are now much more practical, always focused on the immediate application of what they've learned in a work environment or a personal project.

From the LOPD to the RGPD
Until now, the Web Technology syllabus has always included a mini-syllabus on the LOPD (Data Protection Act).
Following one of the major changes in 2018, this syllabus has also been updated and now focuses on the GDPR . This mini-syllabus—which still does not include questionnaires—covers all the latest developments regarding the processing of customer data by companies online.

New professionals join the project
Along with the curriculum change, there has also been a change in the faculty. Vinyet Escribano, who was also responsible for updating the curriculum, is the new online instructor. In-person classes are taught by Samuel Solís, Web Designer and Information Architect, in Madrid, and Ester Torres, a specialist in HTML5, CSS3, JS, PHP, and MySQL, in Barcelona.
