How many times should I post on my blog each month? How mexico whatsapp long should my blog post be? How do I write a post that people like?…

So many questions that come up regularly from my clients.

I will answer you throughout the article!

I want to learn how to write an article!
How many times a month should you post on your blog?
One of the first questions my clients ask me is: How many blog posts should I publish each month?

And here I give the favorite answer of SEO consultants: “it depends!”
Image

It depends on several things:

The time the client has to devote to his blog if he writes it himself
The budget he wants to spend on it if he delegates the writing to me
His goal (strongly correlated with his budget): if you tell me, I want to get 50,000 monthly visits to my blog, I'm going to have to put a lot of effort into the articles (at least at the beginning)!
Industry competition : How many articles do competitors publish per month on their side ?

According to studies, the sites receiving the most traffic and generating the most leads publish at least 16 articles each month ... Needless to say, that's a lot for just one person!

Typically, I advise my clients to publish at least two articles per month .

Second question that comes up most often: how many words do we write per article ?

And unsurprisingly, I answer the same thing: “it depends!” 🙃

No, I don't like to drive my customers crazy ^^

Simply, in natural referencing, there is never a preconceived answer that works every time (that would be too simple!).

Ok, it depends, but on what?

The aim of the article
The subject of the article
The target
The publication site
The competition

Studies have shown that the ideal length is between 1,500 and 3,000 words . But be careful, this length is ideal for Google and natural referencing.

According to Olivier Andrieu, beyond 1,000 words, we are no longer writing for the reader, we are writing for Google (of course, it depends on the subject. A complete guide on natural referencing will easily exceed 1,000 words and will still be able to address the reader perfectly).

For me it is difficult to cover a subject in less than 600 words (it is written very quickly, without blabbering).

And if you had to keep just one piece of advice on this subject: put quality before quantity! This will always be a better strategy for both Google and your readers.

Third question often asked when my clients want to write it themselves: how do I write a good article that captures the reader's attention?

A vast subject that would require a complete training course in itself! And that's good, because it's one of the subjects covered at length, in breadth and in depth in Corner SEO 👇

I discover the Corner SEO training
But I will give you some tips on how to achieve this:

Define your target perfectly: age, gender, interests, profession, social networks used, way of consuming information, etc.

Spend time on the title: you can write it after you have written the whole article if it is easier for you. Try several and see which one makes you want to read more

Space out your text: one idea per paragraph, no more than 3 or 4 lines per paragraph, no more than 300 words per part

Illustrate your article with images and/or gifs

Write short and concise sentences: we get straight to the point in SEO writing!

Use storytelling

Opt for the inverted pyramid technique : from the general to the specific.

And practice !
