Google Analytics and Google Search Console Traffic
Posted: Sat Dec 07, 2024 7:16 am
This chart shows the historical evolution of traffic from search engines recorded by Google Analytics (GA) and Google Search Console (GSC).
Google Analytics and Google Search Console Traffic
The data we receive from GA/GSC is filtered to only include traffic from the primary country associated with the domain name.
GA traffic displayed is the number of users visiting from a search engine, while GSC traffic is the number of clicks recorded through GSC. We pull this data directly from the GA/GSC APIs when you connect your accounts.
The data is for ALL your users/keywords in GA/GSC, not just the ones you track. This also means the chart is not affected by filters.
If you see major discrepancies between Google Analytics and Google Search Console data, it's usually because one of the services isn't set up properly.
