SEMrush is known for its ability to uncover site analytics information. But did you know that you can also use it to identify your and your competitors’ featured snippets?

This Position Tracking feature shows the keywords we rank for, where one of our competitors has earned a featured snippet. Simply enter the project into SEMrush, select the “ Featured Snippet ” tab, and take a look at the opportunities. To find out usages of car owner database how this page got the featured snippet, click on the “ View SERP ” link and then enter the page. How is their content laid out? Is it written in short or long paragraphs? Does it provide a list?

Another feature enabled by SEMrush is to discover keywords of interest, already present in the featured snippets. Simply enter a keyword in the Keyword Magic Tool search box , select the “ Related Keywords ” tab, include or exclude the desired terms and select the “ Featured Snippet ” option in the “ Advanced Features ” > “ SERP Features ” filter.
How to get featured snippet with keyword magic tool
Additionally, you can use the tool to find related long-tail keyword variations that you might want to target for snippets you already own: from Organic Research , enter your domain name, go to the “ Positions ” tab, and apply these two filters: include positions between 1 and 5, and exclude SERPs where you already rank in Featured Snippets. This will give you a list of all the keywords for which your site (or your competitor’s) ranks well, but doesn’t appear in Featured Snippets.
