Some were successful, but some of my blogs failed. Through trial and error , I can conclude that these are all the steps you have to go through and which ones are the most important.

Scale of priorities in the process of creating a successful blog
At each of the following stages you will see a number on the right in the range 1-10.
This number indicates how important the stage is . 1 indicates not very important and 10 indicates very important.
#1 – Determine a niche [8]
The best blogs always focus on one niche. Nothing more, nothing less.
Why?
By focusing on 1 niche, we can make the blog the main source of information for the wider community who are interested in that niche.
If we focus on many niches, it will be difficult to get a loyal audience.
There are 2 ways to determine what niche you should choose:
Align with passion, interests and talents
Adjust to your business industry
A blog will only be successful if the writer is an expert in that field.
Successful blogs focus on 1 topic and the writers are experts in that topic.

If you are not an expert, don't worry... there are 2 solutions.
Do the following:
Study the topic until you become an expert, or
Hire writers. But these writers must be experts in your chosen niche.

#2 – Determine domain, hosting, platform, template [3]
The domain name you choose must be brandable. Not too long and easy to pronounce.
Here are some examples of domain name selection:
RumahKopi.com
CangkirKopi.com
CoffeeMania.com
Coffee Village.com
Coffee Lovers.com
Business website: place blog in subdirectory not subdomain
There are 2 blog placement options if you have a business website that sells products or is an online store. Using a subdirectory (maindomain.com/blog/) or a subdomain (blog.maindomain.com).
It turns out that subdomains are considered by search engines as separate domains from the main domain. Therefore, it is better to use subdirectories so that the authority of the main domain is carried over to the blog.
There are several studies that support this statement:
Subdomains vs Subfolders – Moz [Video]
Decreased traffic due to moving from subfolder to subdomain
Use a popular and trusted hosting. Don't think twice about hosting.
For the platform, WordPress is the most flexible and will provide the most complete features for your blog. For a more complete explanation, read this article on how to create a blog .
In this stage do not waste much time. Always choose the best.
