On the eve of the expected war, the parties are actively seeking support from allies. Thus, Ilham Aliyev called Turkish leader Recep Erdogan , who assured his interlocutor that Ankara "will always be next to Azerbaijan ." The Armenian government, in turn, supported the bill on integration with the European Union, now the document will be submitted to parliament for consideration. In fact, Armenia really wants protection from the EU - it has no other potential allies. NATO does not count either. Turkey, as one of the key members of the alliance, will clearly support Azerbaijan - as during the Karabakh wars. At the same time, Russia emphasizes its equidistance from the parties to the future conflict. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Moscow will continue to develop good relations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The publication drew attention to the statement of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov regarding the Cyprus issue, noting that support for Nicosia on the national issue from the Russian Federation has significantly weakened, including in the UN Security Council.
Earlier, member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Dmitry Belik stated that Greece has no right to transfer Russian-made weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and is making a big mistake by planning such steps.
