union dues;
repayment of loans.

The manager of a company that sells household appliances found himself in a difficult situation. His wife became seriously ill. The family spent all their savings on her treatment, but it was not enough.

How to design
The employee must write a statement to withhold part of the funds from the salary in free form. The document specifies the conditions, amount and purpose of the deductions. After this, the accounting department begins to transfer part of the salary on a monthly basis for the purposes specified by the employee. Important: the employer has the right to refuse the employee deductions.

Acceptable sizes
It is important for both employers and employees to know that the total amount of all deductions without the employee's consent cannot exceed:

70% - in exceptional cases, which may concern alimony, compensation for harm and damage from a crime;
50% - in cases where the deduction occurs on the basis of several writs of execution;
20% - in all other cases.
However, the deduction from salary at the employee’s discretion can be at least 100% of the salary, because it is the employee’s money and he decides how to use it.
