PRC.TODAY (China Today) – Geely’s new all-electric mobility brand Zeekr will produce a fleet of autonomous electric “transportation-as-a-service” robotaxis for Waymo, formerly known as Google’s self-driving car project. The vehicles will be designed and manufactured at Zeekr’s factory in Sweden and then integrated with Waymo’s autonomous driving technology, Waymo Driver. Waymo has previously partnered with other automakers including FCA and Volvo. The partnership with Zeekr makes history as the company was the first to introduce fully autonomous electric taxis in the United States.
