Accelerate value creation at CTT through structured innovation management
We have built a structured approach to managing innovation, with a model that involves different ecosystems and stakeholders, in order to maximize value creation . Our strategy includes an innovation agenda that maps innovative topics and initiatives across the company's different areas of activity. To support projects with internal and external ecosystems, we have developed a Toolbox. In the internal ecosystem, we have the INOV+ program , which is based on a platform where employees can present ideas to face the challenges launched by the different business units, promoting a culture of innovation in the company . We also invest in projects developed within the scope of the Trainee Program . In the external ecosystem, we invest in the 1520 StartUProgram and the Corporate VC 1520 Fund , we promote applications for RDI financing programs such as SIFIDE, PRR and Portugal 2020 and we actively participate in innovation associations, sharing best practices with players from various sectors.

The 1520 StartUProgram reflects our commitment to innovation, seeking startups that bring creative and efficient solutions that help us overcome operational and business challenges . The main objective is to foster innovation within the company, creating an ecosystem where startups can develop and test their ideas aligned with our strategic objectives.
We are looking for partnerships in areas such as e-commerce, logistics and operations, fintech, adtech, communications, retail and sustainability, offering a range of benefits such as access to expert mentoring, resources, funding and potential long-term collaboration . We currently have 22 ongoing projects: 7 in commercial partnerships and 15 in co-creation projects.
Investment Fund 1520
The 1520 Investment Fund represents CTT's corporate venture capital, dedicated to supporting startups that contribute to the development and innovation of its activities . With a budget of 8 million euros, the fund invests in pre-seed and seed startups, up to series A, providing investments ranging from 250 thousand to 500 thousand euros. To date, we have invested in 7 startups in areas such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, fintech, IoT and mobility.
