It is worth noting that the state system of goods labeling is designed in the most convenient way and allows you not to scan literally every accepted or released product item. You can put as many products as you want in a large container and attach a label with a special SSCC code to it. By the way, the company itself creates this code. All that remains is to inform the CRPT which marking codes are collected under this SSCC.
Labeling of wholesale goods
This procedure does not have to be belgium business email list repeated several times - it is enough to generate the SSCC code once, after which all participants in the sales chain only need to scan the large wholesale package. In addition, it is allowed to form an even larger package with its own SSCC, where smaller packages with their own SSCCs can be inserted.
Here we cannot fail to mention a certain amount of risk, because it is unknown what kind of packers are responsible for the packaging, labeling and quality of the goods being shipped at the supplier. It may turn out that the end seller will receive products with different codes (not those ordered and entered in the documents), and then he will have problems with sales.
Here are the steps you should take if you are a manufacturer or seller of consumer goods that are subject to mandatory labeling by law:
Integrate your current accounting system with EDI. If you have already done this before, you should make additional changes to your accounting system that will allow you to transfer product marking lists to the UPD.
Install scanners to read marking codes at the time of acceptance or sale of products.
Label the remaining stock in the warehouse if there is a lot of it and you understand that you will most likely not be able to sell it before the deadline established by law. Then you will need to modify your accounting system so that you can print labels in DataMatrix format and send your codes to the CRPT. Later, you will be able to continue using this system in cases where, for example, purchases are returned (and the labels on them are not saved) or the label becomes unusable during storage or transportation of products.
For companies selling products at retail, scanning devices will be needed at checkouts.
