Manual installation of a WordPress plugin via FTP

In some rare cases, your WordPress hosting provider may have file restrictions that limit the ability to install a plugin via the admin area.

In this case, it is best to install the plugin manually via FTP. However, the FTP manager method is the least suitable for beginners.

Before we get started, you need to download the plugin zip file and unzip it on your computer.

Extracting the plugin zip file will create a new folder with the same name. You will need to manually install the WordPress plugin in this folder using an FTP client .

Now make sure you have access to your host through the FTP manager. If you don't know your FTP username and password, you should contact your WordPress hosting provider and ask them.

Once you have the extracted folder and FTP credentials ready, you can open the FTP client on your computer.
